“40 to Phoenix” gave riders the opportunity to try Mick-O-Pegs for 3-400 mile days. Trying a couple of different Models (on different days) was also possible. We took a limited number of Mick-O-Pegs to sell.
There was also an opportunity for riders who were not able to join the 40 to Phoenix ride
to make arrangements to meet us along the I40 route to get fitted for a set of Mick-O-Pegs.
Post Trip report: Gone for 13 days. Our trip was just over 5500 miles. We left MI w/sunny skies and 36 degrees but ended the first day by getting snowed off I-75 just north of Lexington, KY. 'Met a bunch of neat folks in Wilmington, NC and began traveling west with morning temps usually just above or below freezing and highs for most days were in the 40's and 50's. Leaving Moriarty, NM it was 26 degrees and when we arrived in Phoenix that afternoon it was 87. 'Arrived back home a day early to miss snow, but temp was only 21 degrees... We call the '40 to Phoenix' ride our 'cold weather training'.
