Pic #1.So your ankles clear the floor boards, your feet will need to be out more than with Model AA or BA. The 25 degree twist in the "leg" points the "peg" up and back to help hold your feet on the "pegs." While using Model GA
Mick-O-Pegs you can lean a little more than your bike leans while setting on it's side stand.
Pic #2. Most riders will agree that Model GA is not quite as comfortable as Model
AA, but some are willing to sacrifice some comfort with their Mick-O-Pegs in order to keep their floorboards or because they
want to be able to slide their foot off the end of the "peg."
Pic #3. This prototype (not chromed) shows the relative position when not being used. The engine
guards of the GL1200 are a little lower than on the GL1500, which puts your foot position a little closer to the ground.
Pic #4. Other choices are Models KA, KD or KL which will give more of a "cruiser riding position" - with feet farther forward and spread enough to get around the engine.
If you have a GL1200, Model KA will likely put your feet too low, but KD might be a good choice.
If you think Model GA might be too low, another option is Model GD. Model GD is a popular choice for GL1800 riders.
The D block drops the 'leg' 15 degrees less than the A block. You can see some pictures of Model GD, with measurements
on a GL1800, at our "Pictures...pg"
