What Others say

Model AA is most popular choice for the 88-97 GW w/stock foot pegs. Model BA was introduced for the 80-87 GW w/stock foot pegs but is also a good choice for the short rider on the 88-97 GW.

Pic #1. Model AA can be mounted in addition to some Kuryakyn Pegs. CAUTION: Mick-O-Pegs are habit forming. You may no longer be satisfied with any other highway peg/board position.

Pic #2. Model AA (or BA) can be mounted slightly behind a Markland highway board, or the Markland highway board can be mounted behind the Mick-O-Peg. Let the one who rides decide the location of each. Same caution as above.

Pic #3. The difference between Models AA & BA is that Model BA's "leg" is 1" shorter which means the "block" can be mounted farther back to look very much like this Model AA when not being used. The shorter leg is necessary on the 4 cylinder Wings.

If you are uncomfortable with the thought of having the "pegs" pointing inboard, check out Model GA & GD.

Pic #4. The bottom of the "peg" of Model AA is about even with the bottom of the engine. Model BA's "peg" is about 1/2" higher. That 1/2" makes a big difference for the shorter riders on the GL1500.

Pic #5. If you like the "Cruiser" position, you may want to consider the Model KA (or KD) which was designed for the GL1800, but is also being used by some GL1500 owners. This rider's legs are below the heat from the radiators and feet are ahead of the Model GA & GD position.
